It is hard to believe that I am already seven months into my presidency. The summer and fall went by so quickly! Despite the holidays and the increasingly busy nature of our offices, the Committee Co-Chairs, Executive Council members, and committee volunteers have continued to work very hard for MASFAA, and I continue to be proud of their many accomplishments. College Goal Sunday Becoming Massachusetts Pride
Massachusetts may not have had a football team in the Super Bowl, but it sure does have reason to be proud. In its third year, College Goal Sunday continued to exceed expectations by increasing attendance to over 1,000 families which is a 50% increase from 2006. With seventeen sites, up from thirteen the year before, College Goal Sunday helped families overcome their dread of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), by going line-by-line through the complexities of the form.
