The day started with a session on Leadership in Times of Change, given by guest speaker Gina LaRoche of the consulting firm Inspiritas. Betsy Mayotte of American Student Assistance delivered a session on The Regulatory Process, Daniel Barkowitz of MIT presented The Three R’s of Financial Aid: Research, Resources, and netwoRking, and the day ended with a presentation by Nick Zinser of Northeastern University on Technology in the Financial Aid Office. This workshop concluded a successful first year of the Emerging Leaders program. Later this summer, Directors and Associate Directors of Financial Aid will be able to nominate staff members for the Emerging Leaders class of 2007-2008.
