The Professional Development and Training Committee is hard at work putting together training for the MASFAA membership for the upcoming year. With office travel budgets cut or non-existent, local training options are more important than ever. We’ve got a number of workshops in the planning stages and will send out additional details as they become available.

Right now our plans include the following:

• December: Need Analysis with an East and a West location
• December: Performance Appraisals and Motivating Employees in Difficult Times
• Late Jan/Early February: Tax Workshop
• March: Emerging Leaders Workshop 1
• May: Support Staff Workshop
• June: Emerging Leaders Workshop 2
• June: End of Year Event

The Professional Development and Training Committee will also be looking at partnering with other MASFAA Committees to bring additional training topics to you. If you have any suggestions for topics please feel free to contact either Jennifer English or Kathy Anderson.
