Congratulations to the participants of this year’s Just the Facts program! We had 45 participants – our largest number to date. We would like to thank this year’s attendees for their involvement in each week’s presentation – great questions, comments, and feedback all contributed to the program. Many thanks as well to our host, Wellesley College, and to the committee members and trainers who make this event possible.
Each year, MASFAA offers Just the Facts over a series of 5 Tuesdays in the Fall. The materials are adapted from NASFAA’s CORE training materials and presented each week by a team of financial aid professionals. Attendees learn about individual programs but also hear from current administrators on different practices and policies. It’s also a great way for newer administrators to network with colleagues. As you hire new team members over the coming year, keep Just the Facts in mind as a great professional development opportunity.
Our committee is always looking for new members and presenters – Just the Facts is a great way to get involved with MASFAA. Next year’s committee will gear up later in the spring – if you would be interested in participating in next year’s program, please email Meredith Stover, Babson College at stoverm@babson.edu. We look forward to hearing from you!
